Have you ever noticed?
Your heard that right. You might be very regular to your
office and may not take a leave at all in the entire year, still, what if I
tell that you are not getting paid for 38 days in an year!
Reasearch found this
According to a research done by the researchers in London,
that is a fact. They included 2000 persons in their research and noted their
working schedule. They found that on an average, every employee was working a
little more than his work timings- starting 17 minutes early and finishing 15
minutes late than the office timings. If added on yearly basis this comes out
to be approximately 38 working hours. But this duration is never added in the
official timings L
The research also found that approximately one third of the
people found the thought of leaving early uncomfortable and 40% of the people
believed that staying a little late is the ‘right’ way to work.
So, that’s it. That's in UK, what about your workplace? Observe your general timings
and see how much you are loosing every year? :(
Best way is to work in a single minded way on the task assigned and before that
assigning the priority to the works to be done in a day, and utilise this time in much more productive way, may be on yourself?
